There is a wonderful account of some of those Skillingtonians who fell in the Great War of 1914-1918. Ron Cosford who now lives in Oxfordshire is the Grandson of Robert Henry Robertson of Skillington. Ron has researched his grandfather’s activities in the Great War along with those of the Meads, and the Duffins.
